Artist Statement
I am pursuing photojournalism centered on wildlife conservation and environmental protection. My objective is to gain experience in storytelling through photography and media. I grew up hiking in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, where I developed an ardent appreciation for nature’s staggering beauty and its ability to revitalize those who traverse the trails. During these years, I started photographing landscapes and the plethora of diverse creatures that inhabit them.
