In 1995, wolves were reintroduced in Yellowstone National Park restoring balance to the ecosystem of the park. Long seen as a villain or a pest by local farmers, wolves are now understood to be a crucial piece of a much larger puzzle. Wolves help protest the park by limiting elk populations and have even changed the flow of the Yellowstone river. May this painting remind you of the majestic wolf and our need to protect them.
